We are building solar and wind farms on the sunny coastline
Why us?
We are an experienced investment team that has implemented renewable energy projects (biomass and solar power plants) worth over EUR 80 million in the CEE and SEE region.
What is our goal?
Our goal is to build a 500+ MW solar and wind portfolio in the CEE and SEE region.
Our investing
opportunities
European interconnected energy systems and better-integrated networks support renewable energy generation and supply across the continent, from south to north, from west to east. Thanks to the interconnected electricity market, we produce electricity in the sunny and windy coastal region of Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina and deliver it to renowned customers in Central Europe. The pan-European ENTSO-E network (www.entsoe.eu/about/inside-entsoe/objectives/) and harmonized laws and regulations on free trade of electricity ensure long-term off-take for our produced electricity to renowned customers within the EU, with a 10- year purchase price guarantee securing stable revenue stream.

Why the coastal region of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina?
The coastal area of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina enjoys an above-average sunlight, which is up to a third higher than in Central Europe. The advanced electricity transmission infrastructure, part of the pan-European ENTSO-e grid network, in which we can freely sell electricity even as far as the Czech Republic. Thanks to predictable local permitting processes, we can plan investments and their appreciation over time.
Our references
Woodburn Group, in collaboration with its partners, has built and commissioned 3 large biomass power plants with a total electrical capacity of 15 MW and 36 MW of thermal capacity, 2 solar parks with a total capacity of 5.1 MW, and a solar park under construction with a capacity of 3.7 MW. We are also finalizing the permitting processes for two 10.5 MW and 40 MW solar parks including battery storage and, last but not least, we have been selected by a major automotive company to build a 2.2 MW rooftop solar power plant. The key to our success is not only quality relationships with the local community, authorities and regulators, but also strategic investment alliances with partners who have proven experience in investing in and implementing renewable energy projects.
